Account & Data Deletion
How to delete your MUSE9 Social Hub account in-app or request account and personal data deletion from the web.
Effective date: 1 October 2026 · Updated: 3 November 2026
1. In-App Self-Service Account Deletion (iOS, Android & Web)
Signed-in MUSE9 Social Hub users can initiate account deletion directly inside the mobile app or web workspace at any time:
- Open MUSE9 Social Hub and sign in to your account.
- On iOS or Android, tap Menu → Data & Privacy → Delete account (on Web, open Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete account).
- Tap Request account deletion and confirm your request.
What happens when you request in-app account deletion:
- Immediate access revocation: Your active login sessions are revoked immediately and your account enters a
pending_deletionstate. - 7-day recovery window: Your account is held in a recoverable state for 7 days. During this 7-day window, you can cancel the deletion and restore your account using the Restore account / Open account recovery option on the sign-in or Data & Privacy screen.
- Permanent erasure after 7 days: Once the 7-day recovery period expires without restoration, your personal account profile (name, email, password hash, authentication credentials, personal preferences, and session tokens) is permanently deleted or anonymized.
- Workspace owners: If your account is the active owner of a multi-member company workspace, you must first transfer workspace ownership or remove the workspace before deleting your owner account.
If you want a copy of your available personal account data before deleting your account, go to Menu / Settings → Data & Privacy → Export personal data.
2. Request Account or Data Deletion via Web / Email (No App Required)
You do not need to have the mobile app installed—or even hold a MUSE9 user account—to request deletion of your MUSE9 account or personal data processed through a connected social channel.
Service operator: ISMART9 TRADING CO., LTD (operating MUSE9 Social Hub, official websites https://hub.ismart9.com and https://ismart9.com).
Account & data deletion email: home@ismart9.com.
Send an email with the subject “MUSE9 account or data deletion request” and include only what is necessary to locate your account or records:
- For MUSE9 user account deletion: The email address associated with your MUSE9 Social Hub user account and whether you want full account deletion or specific workspace membership removal.
- For customer / social conversation data deletion: The business, brand, TikTok account, Facebook/Instagram Page, or Telegram channel you contacted; the platform used (TikTok, Facebook / Messenger, Instagram, or Telegram); your handle/username or profile link; and an approximate conversation date.
You can also contact the business through the same social channel you originally used and ask it to forward a privacy request to its MUSE9 administrator. Never include passwords, login codes, API keys or access tokens.
3. Data Deleted vs. Data Retained
- Deleted with account deletion: Your MUSE9 user profile (name, email address), password and authentication credentials, active and historical login sessions, personal notification preferences, and personal workspace/brand role bindings.
- Customer & social data deleted upon verified request: Connected social profile metadata (including TikTok Login Kit
user.info.basicmetadata, Content Posting APIvideo.publish/video.uploadpublication records, and TikTok Business Messaging or comment records), stored conversation messages and comments, retained media attachments, voice transcripts, derived AI observations, and internal notes identifying you. - Retained shared business & security records: Shared business workspace content created for a team (such as published brand posts, shared media library assets, or multi-party customer service logs) belongs to the subscribing company workspace and is governed by the workspace administrator unless full workspace removal is requested. Minimal security, fraud-prevention, and audit log metadata may be retained where required by applicable law or legitimate security operations.
- Third-party platform copies: MUSE9 cannot directly erase copies held independently by TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Telegram, or other external platforms. To delete a TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or Telegram account, use that platform’s own account-deletion process.
4. Disconnecting a Connected Social Account
You can revoke MUSE9’s access from a social platform’s connected-app or business-integration settings at any time (for example, in TikTok under Settings and Privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions, or in Facebook Business Integrations). Workspace administrators can also disconnect the channel inside MUSE9 under Social Accounts. Disconnecting immediately revokes stored OAuth tokens and stops future syncing; to erase historical records stored in MUSE9, submit a deletion request using Section 1 or Section 2 above.
5. Verification & Processing Timeline
Self-service in-app account deletion revokes access immediately and permanently deletes personal account credentials after the 7-day recovery window. Web/email requests sent to home@ismart9.com are verified to protect against unauthorized deletion and are normally completed within 7 to 30 days depending on scope, workspace administrator coordination, and applicable legal requirements.
